Fulfilment Centers

Steam harbour Logistics has collaborated with strategic partners for providing warehousing facilities in key locations across the country. All our partners have the best state of the art warehousing facility and the best warehousing management system set in place thereby ensuring that the goods are kept in an orderly manner with minimum operational movement and avoiding multiple and unnecessary movements of the cargo. We ensure that our warehousing partners follow the best safety procedures at their facility and all their operations and handling of equipment observes and follows all the rules and regulations of the warehouse safety management system.

Consolidation and Deconsolidation Centers

At our Consolidation or Deconsolidation Centers we aim to reduce storage time at its minimum by combining material from different origins into containers or trailers with the same destination or by sorting material intended for different destinations.

Crossdocking and Transloading

At the centers you will benefit from our best in class Crossdocking and Transloading solutions enabling you to transfer your cargo from shipping containers directly to outbound trailers and consolidate it with other freight, with little or no storage in-between. This eliminates the need for a Distribution Center at the port of entry, makes scheduling of labour more efficient, and reduces inland transport costs significantly.

Bonded or Non-bonded Warehouses

Competitive advantage could be achieved by taking benefit of the diverse legal status offered in our facilities either bonded or non-bonded. In our bonded warehouses dutiable goods may be stored without payment of duty until goods are removed.
